Artist Lothar Götz was commissioned to design a wall painting as part of the redevelopment City of Westminster College.
The new building, designed by architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen, and the artwork within were both completed in early 2011.
Götz’s design for the main reception wall employs 16 different colours and forms an integral part of the building's overall structure, highlighting its architectural features and connecting the different levels. ‘The movement of the painting is vertical ’, says Götz, ‘like a colourful abstract waterfall.’
