In 2014 Modus Operandi was appointed to write the Art Plan for Westgate Oxford, a new retail and leisure facility in the city, located between the Castle and Modern Art Oxford. Modus Operandi is currently delivering the Public Art Prgoramme comprising a range of permanent and temporary commissions across the development.
Westgate Oxford opened in Autumn 2017, delivered by Westgate Oxford Alliance, a joint venture between Land Securities and The Crown Estate.
The Public Art Programme has been produced in consultation with the masterplanners BDP, Dixon Jones Architects, landscape architects Gillespies, Oxfordshire County Council Library Services, Oxford City Council and key stakeholders including Modern Art Oxford.
